Kingdom and king need to change to state and people.if nepalease don't understand that then it will be fiefdom and nepal will remain as poor for ever, king will remain in palace and people will remain in huts and under the trees.there is no in between in democracy, where the king will have an administrative role-it's all by the people, for the peole and of the people.
It's easy to eradicate corruption in democracy than to eradicate corruption in monarchy.best example is BD ,the people of bangladesh are far more democratic than India because of awareness,so they even bit the bullets and brought down the pakistani army to its knee.Bengalies are very self aware people who strongly resisted the Zamindari, british, nawabi -all opressors one by one.
The reason is selfawareness.the root of democracy in India came from the spirit of Bengal,Pakistan and Islamisation was just a melodrama of religion but underneath the Hindus and Muslim culture in bengal is the same.
Nepal is at a juncture of this self realisation ,so halfway house of democracy and fiefdom will not work-either total democracy or none at all, is the final pathway in this power struggle.
